PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Women in Music Executive Internship program aims to generate greater diversity and equity in the music industry from bottom up. By prioritizing applicants with little to no music industry experience and destigmatizing those without higher education, Women in Music is ensuring opportunities for future executives who have the talent, but who may not have the access.

A partnership with Women in Music is a commitment to hiring without cultural, age, & educational bias, it's a commitment to prioritizing talent and passion over contacts and degrees, and it's a commitment to offering appropriate compensation for the work that's being done.

In addition to internship placements for a select few applicants, Women in Music will also provide additional mentorship opportunities, special events, panels, and forums to help our interns build a new foundational industry network.
